I finally found the flooring for the basement! I needed 3,000 square feet of flooring, so I had to find a great deal. $1.00 - 2.00 more per sq. ft. is $3,000 - $6,000 more! After receiving an e-mail from Lumber Liquidators advertising a 10mm "Brand Name" Bronze Cherry laminate flooring for $1.29/sq. ft. w/ pad, I had to go check it out. Well, I found it and I love it! The link is here! It comes in one other color, Harvest Light Oak. I'm thrilled that the pad is attached and it is 10mm thick. My husband ordered the laminate today and because of the volume of the order, the salesperson dropped it to $1.19/sq. ft. They did have just under 3,000 sq. ft. in stock, but we wanted all of the laminate to be from the same dye lot, and opted to order it. It know it will be dark, but I do want it to feel warm and cozy. I'll keep you posted with photos! Please let me know what you think. Does anyone else have laminate flooring? Are you happy?
