HOME DEPOT - GRANITE TILE - $4.97 SQ. FT.

We are in the process of finishing our basement.  We've been in the house for almost two years, and I'm not ready to take on the basement.  I still haven't finished decorating upstairs, but my husband wants his bar done!  I think he would have liked to have had his man cave ready for the Super Bowl game this year!  Oh, well!
I found absolute black granite tiles (12" x 12") for $4.97 sq. ft. at Home Depot.  I also opened a Home Depot charge account and received an extra 10% off making it $4.45 sq. ft.  Not bad!  I am putting black granite in the shower too.  Normally I wouldn't do it, but since it is in the basement and won't be used very often, I'm going to be bold and daring!  My decor upstairs is very neutral so this is as bold as I get!  I've also attached a photo of the bar.  Can you believe the corbels were under $65 each shipped? (I ordered these last month and had a coupon code).  They are 23" high and 3 1/2" wide.  Very nice size for a large bar like this one.  I purchased the corbels at Premier Wood Products here.

I found the above bowl at Marshall's last night. I've been looking for something to match my vase (also pictured). I just love the deep red color. This bowl would be great for fruit, but I'm going to place it on top of my cabinets standing upright. It looks like glass, but is made of a lightweight material. The bowl was only $7.99!
